Flywheel or FMIC upgrade

So, I am thinking of doing the M2 flywheel swap for DCT or get a massive FMIC to replace my Wagner EVO I. If you could only do one due to budget, what would you do?

Reason for thinking you might want/need the larger FMIC?

I've see IAT's up to 170F on the straights of the tracks around here on warm days.

If the flywheel isn’t limiting you on the amount of boost you want to run, I say go with the bigger intercooler.

Pretty sure there's alternative low hanging fruit from a mods perspective. Depending on your current mods... Maybe look at an LSD, Rear Subframe bushings, SPL front lower control arms (and/or rear arms), or even an oil pan baffle as I've seen 3-4 n55 engines fail due to oil pickup on track.

A 1M frontend would also allow you to run 275 square tires.

Haha sorry I didn't answer your question =( your IAT issue seems fairly odd, don't think the extra weight up front would be worth it. There's gotta be a way to get more airflow into your intake or increased heat shielding. My IATs usually drop on long straights

Good luck with the car!
