Saw your thread, decided to comment. Lovely ride & mods

Your photos of the perf bumer show it in angles that people dont really post it in, I enjoyed seeing it vs Msport e81

Also, the BMW Performance bumper is getting fitted on Tuesday.

Other plans at present are:

* Mirror caps painted "Ferric Grey"
* Fit stubby aerial of some description
* Rear diffusor painted gloss black
* Fit OZ NOVA wheels
* Fit 1M xenons (currently only have a passenger side)
* Front bumper lip spoiler (Kerscher)
* Find a pair of Alcantara seats from a crashed F21 (long wait ahead!!)
How do you know that F21 seats fit? I wanna play the wait game too.

Anyway on the bright side I will be sinking the cash I had to one side for those parts into another xenon light - I have FINALLY found a drivers side 1M xenon and I will be ordering it from Germany on Monday

The plan will then be to sell my stock Xenons on eBay and buy some E92 M3 suspension parts to tighten the handling up even more.
Hand brake for 135i brakes may work if you look into the recent z4 forum on bimmerpost. Requires cutting up rear back plates and the 135i hub bearing thing.

The trim should be painted the same grey colour your Mirrors are...

Hand brake solution:
http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showp...&postcount=824

you will just need 128i hub from maybe the 125i or for sure the 135i hub like the 130i dependign on the Knucle part numbers you got ( the massive part to which all control arms connect)

Thats a shame dude. Did the audio upgrade make much of a difference also with that second sub?

Audio upgrade made a big difference, but my car had 2 x subs as stock.

I have since changed things further so the current set up is:

OEM Alpine Amp

2 x Logic 7 mids

2 x Alpine tweeters

2 x Logic 7 underseat woofers

The sound is awesome!

Small, but costly update.

Tommorow the car is going in for 4 x new tyres.

I'm upszing to 225/40 front and 255/35 rear, simply because of the fact they are cheaper and there is a huge selection of tyres compared to the original 215 and 245 set up.

I've opted for a full set of Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta's - with a crazy tread pattern!

I will report back with how I'm getting on with them after a few hundred miles have been put onto them

Not sure, but I could always get it rolled if needed?

Its only 10mm extra in terms of profile?

I have succumbed to a wheel purchase…

BBS RC 303 (18x8.5 ET38 all round) I will have to run a 225/40 all round or possibly squeeze a 235 on the rear.

These wheels were too much of a bargain to miss out on at a little over £300, but sadly I won't have the cash to get them refurbed or shod in tyres for quite a while, so its more of a long project this time round!

The ultimate goal will be something like this (colour wise):

or maybe go all out and have a white on white combo:

So…. my bargain wheels turned up today! Still can't believe how cheap I got these!!!

I also don't think I've seen them on a her before, which is good as I like to be original with my cars!

I couldn't resist a cheeky little test against the car, but I was loosing the light However I am mega chuffed with the wheels, they look awesome up against the car (IMO of course!)

Some pics:

Slight concave to the wheels

Wheel Update:

I got them offering up to the hubs today for a quick test fit. I just wanted to check the fronts for BBK clearance and also see where they stood in terms of poke in the front arches.

It looks as if though the OEM bolts are no good for these wheels though, does anyone know the type of bolt required for BBS RC's?

I dusted the DSLR off and snapped some pics whilst I was at it

Thanks, I sold this car to fund a foray back to MINI with a brand new F56 Cooper S, ended up spending a fortune on it, and then selling!

We have a baby now, and the MINI didn't cut it for practicality!

The latest project is a E91 Touring in 325d flavour..... the build thread is here:

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1164534

It goes for some tasty upgrades in the morning! Cant wait!
