Mini Shoot:Volks finally on!!!
I just put the wheels on the other day, and havent had a real chance to drive it. I have some more plans for the future including coils, I was thinking of painting the calipers red and some more.
I was racing against the sun setting to get the pics. As you could tell, some are edited and some aren’t, some are over done, and some are underdone. I am still new at this so C&C’s are welcome. Photobucket seems to have reduced the quality of the images a bit Hope you like them… These next two pics have the angel eyes floating in the pics, not sure why. lol

Are the fronts stretched? How's the ride? Has to be rough I would think, you have almost no sidewall.
Looks good but for me they seem a little too big for the car. What size are they? |

Very jealous (if these are the same wheels I saw for sale on the forum) I thought to myself these would look awesome on an aw 1er. They look perfect! You don't even need to adjust ride height.

I like the looks of those wheels. What colour are they? They aren't brilliant silver but they aren't quite anthracite either.

Thanks.

The side wall on the stock front tires are 3.4 inches, mine are 3.2 so it is not that big of a deal. It drives like stock to me, becase the sidewalls are a tad smaller but I no longer have runflats so it kind of evens out. lol, not really though. I have prepped for that. Now it only rubs when I hit a hard bump with 2-3 in the car including me. It hardly ever rubs, and it is quick when it does. Quote:
I am glad I could be of help Quote:
Thank you I am not sure as I bought them preowned and they are discontinued, but they look to be in the middle between silver and gunmetal. Almost silver grey if that helps.

Very nice though I am not digging the red "tuner" lugs. It's just too "JDM Yo!" for me.
Also, what is that other emblem on the left side of your trunk lid? |

Looks fantastic! Aren't you glad you didn't accept my offer...
For me the red lug covers are too much, however the overall look is great. Volks are IMO on of the best quality wheels available. Goog luck with them!!! |

Well these wheels are the LE-37's they are limited edition and have a polished lip. The TE-37's which are the standard ones come in gold, but they are all gold. No polished lip.
Thanks Thanks guys. It is lowered on H&R sport springs. I do want to get coils though. Quote:
Oh yeah and they are Rays Engineering Lugs, just like Red BBS lugs from Japan, not a "tuner" lug. Well I have JDM Yo wheels, so might as well have the lugs, right? And right now id rather have JDM Yo anyway. The crap coming out of German tuners for the newew BMW's for the most part is ugly. It is a needle in a haystack to find nice parts from German tuners. The Japanese ones are msking really nice parts though IMHO. Quote:
Thanks Quote:
The are 19x8.5 et43 and 19x95 et45. They are discontinued so you would have to find them used. Thank you. Oh sorry about having two threads, I had one in e90post and they moved them.

Thanks for the reply. I know not everyone has the same tastes but if it works for you, rock it. My factory lugs are powder-coated black and show now signs of rusting. Were your lugs not coated? Also, you never told me what that emblem is on the left side of your trunk lid. |

Ahhh, I didn't realize that is wears off that easily. I guess I will be looking into aftermarket lugs.
