Hello Everyone!
Hey guys. Been a member here for a little while (doing my pre purchase research) and picked up a 2010 135i about a month ago. All I can say is that this car is incredible.
I've had a thing for this car ever since it came out, and it didn't help that I knew someone with a brand new '08 135i back when I was a senior in high school. I actually bought his first car from him when he decided on getting the 1er, but that's another story. Long story short he now drives a VO 1M... I'm coming from an '05 Legacy GT (was Stage 2+ if anyone's interested) and I've been a member of the on NASIOC and LegacyGT.com for some time. Needless to say, the mod bug is already here.... Now that the boring stuff is over... 2010 135i Jet Black 6MT M-Sport - Picked it up with 8,950 miles (yes that's right, it was a garage queen from Vermont ) - Has the BMW PPK1 installed - Unfortunately still on runflats... Down at the Beach (Captree, LI) Crappy iPhone shot When I hit 10K! I'll have more pictures up soon in the pictures section but I've been lazy recently.... |

Welcome and congratulations! That is one sweet looking ride! You're gonna love the car even more once you ditch the run flats!

Thanks, yeah I couldn't believe the mileage. Closest thing I've ever seen to buying a brand new N54 1er in 2013.

Haha yeah agreed, I barely see them anywhere on LI. Also in search of some good local driving roads if you have any suggestions. Also, how do you like the v12's? |

the v12's are solid tires. Good wet and dry traction and they've been wearing nicely. They can handle some spirited driving but i hear they're not the best track tire.

Thanks! I don't commute daily on the LIE but I'm right off exit 58 so I'm on there pretty frequently. I'll lookout for you next time I am haha

all seasons are not really enough in the winter on a RWD car, IMO. |

Great pickup especially with the low miles. I also longed for the 135i until I bought one a few months ago and I absolutely love it. I like it more with each passing day as I have become more bonded with it during spirited mountain driving. In 2008, I debated between a e92 coupe and the 135i and chose the 328i coupe for its sexy looks and more grown up look but I never could get over the 135i longing. The 328i was a great car and I loved it very much but I am happy now to have the 135i. Congratulations and take it as soon as you can on some twisty country roads where you will appreciate it even more.
