Blacked out headlights?

I've got my headlights open and some of the chrome got scratched. It isn't really noticeable but I'm picky.

Has anyone blacked out the headlights? The trim and the chrome piece? if so, would really appreciate some pictures.

Google 135i bavgruppe headlights and you’ll see a lot of pics. I’m in the process of modding mine and have blacked out the pieces. The trick is to hit all the chrome parts with easy off oven cleaner and it helps to remove the chrome for a better starting surface for paint.

I did mine anthracite with light smoked sidemarkers. Wanted something subtle.
