DCT Output Shaft Flange Installation

In the process of changing the output shaft seal. Just trying to gather info as much as possible.

TIS mentioned that I need to to pretention the nut to 175Nm, release, then final torque to 125Nm. Wondering why the pretension to 175Nm?

Anyone has done this work before.

Will post DIY once everything done.

Digging up an old thread, but I'm about to do this same job. Any tips? Did you buy the seal install tool?
