Changing oil from another dealer besides BMW

Is there a cheaper place to get my BMW 135i oil changed except BMW? There must be some places out there that can change BMW oil for alot less. These people should definitely be BMW certified.

I thought all BMW dealers do oil changes for free. Mine does?

what I meant was that if I were to do an oil change before the date set in the car.

Wait so do all BMW dealerships do free oil changes? Is it a thing that only applies while the warranty is around or is it a life time thing?

Pretty sure the 15K oil change (or once a year) is free at the dealer. Any other interim oil changes you have to pay $$$ for.

This is why I just bought an oil change kit from Dan @ United and will be changing it myself this weekend.

Well my previous job was to change oil and tires. So I could do it myself pretty easy. It would just be a matter of getting the higher quality oil that the car would require.

If you are concerned about the cost of an oil change at a BMW dealer...buy a Hyundai! If you are trying to save some $$$ then do it yourself. You could go to Canadian tire for $20 but some high school kids could fuck up your car.

To keep your warranty, you do need to use BMW's Castrol synthetic oil, which can only be sourced from a stealership. Likely the same for the filter too.
