We are going to be testing #2 soon which the clutch will be shaved down a bit.

1st gear starts in traffic, up hills where smooth with no chatter. Reverse in parking lot was OE. This is a VERY smooth clutch and couldnt believe an aftermarket clutch could actually be so smooth. I have always been hesitant with swapping clutches, but not with this one.

All in all this thing is freaking sweet. What I love about my car is that it gets me to work comfortably and is a beast on the track. This clutch didnt negatively effect the smoothness or drivability of the car and will withstand to the increase power and usage on the track.
Thanks for testing out the clutch Tim. The engagement is simply amazing especially considering how much power this clutch can hold. I'll post up videos of your drivability testing shortly. We are making one minor adjustment in the pressure plate as the clutch engagement starts a little too close to the floor, but we will have the modified ones ready to ship next week.

Can you PM me a price of everything I'd need on mine? Mine isn't slipping from what I can tell on the street, but it has a burning clutch smell coming from it. It's going into BMW on friday for some other fixes, gonna have them look at the clutch, is it covered as part of the maintence/warranty packages?

Thank you! My main worry now is my flywheel, and what to do if i get it all torn apart and realize that the flywheel needs to be machined or it needs a new one. Any suggestions on that part?

You can send your flywheel to South Bend Clutch and they will turn it for $75 and ship it back to you. Most likely your flywheel will be fine and the factory organic disks produce very little wear on the flywheels.
