While I'm in there…
My N51 has 80k miles. I had the three leaks. The VCG was done under the SULEV warranty and I was told the VANOS solenoid was good (I know, I should have had them do it it anyway). I'm saving the oil pan gasket for last so the next project is the OFHG. I'm also going to replace the "Mickey Mouse" coolant flange and the accessory belt/tensioner/pulley while everything is taken apart.
Is there anything else recommended while access is easier? Upper radiator hose? My mechanic told me not to worry about the thermostat and water pump (yet). |
