Ferrari's revenues, profits grow in Q1
Corporate and Financial ANOTHER STRONG START TO THE YEAR SUSTAINED BY PRODUCT MIX Net revenues of Euro 1,791 million, up 13.0% versus prior year, with total shipments of 3,593 units Operating profit (EBIT)(1) of Euro 542 million, up 22.7% versus prior year, with Operating profit (EBIT) margin of 30.3% Net profit of Euro 412 million and diluted EPS at Euro 2.30 EBITDA(1) of Euro 693 million, up 14.6% versus prior year, with EBITDA margin of 38.7% Industrial free cash flow(1) generation of Euro 620 million “Another year is off to a great start” said Benedetto Vigna, CEO of Ferrari. “In the first quarter of 2025, with very few incremental shipments year on year, all key metrics recorded double-digit growth, underscoring a strong profitability driven by our product mix and continued demand for personalizations. This confirms – once again – our strategy of ‘quality of revenues over quantity’. We continue to enrich our product offering – in line with our plans – with six new models this year, which include the newly launched 296 Speciale, 296 Speciale A and the much-anticipated Ferrari elettrica through a unique and innovative unveiling. We are very excited about what lies ahead.” https://www.ferrari.com/en-EN/corpor...uarter-results |

Both McLaren cars and Aston Martin cars are unable to make money. Both have taken steps to improve.

Aston Martin screwed up by outsourcing their motors. McLaren I think people are just tired of. Only McLaren people can tell any of them apart. Who even knows what they make now?

I still like my naturally aspirated one for driving pleasure more, but I’m likely in the minority. People like turbo torque more nowadays as it looks better on paper for people obsessed with meaningless 0-60 times and doesn’t involve the driver as much. You are also forgetting the V12 which is all Aston. Really good video to watch right here: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ip9Vna...cJCdgAo7VqN5tD Last edited by Davil; 05-14-2025 at 03:18 AM.. |

And yeah, they have the V12 still, but isn't that fairly rare in their product line now? |

The Vanquish (V12) is limited to 1000 units 333 for the US all of which are sold apparently. They’ve said that the V12 will be produced for as long as it is allowed. Nice. Valkyrie also has a V12 but that’s a whole different kettle of fish. Upcoming Valhalla has a flat plane crank custom AMG V8 with hybrid assistance. |

Ferrari stock...down ~13% today after announcing a re-evaluation and reduction in their plans for future EV products.
"Ferrari said it expects its 2030 sports car model line-up to be made up of 40% internal combustion engine cars, 40% hybrid and 20% fully electric vehicles. That’s down from its prior target of 40% EV sales by the end of the decade." Last edited by 3798j; 10-09-2025 at 11:29 AM.. |

I do not know the name of a single Ferrari model currently made. They are irrelevant to me. Growing up, I knew all of them.

Well, I know I did my part by fantasizing about the prospect of buying one, even though I never will.
That helps the stock price, right? |
