That would make it an LCI.

Maybe someone should start a thread in the main discussion section where there is more activity and see what people think.

My point was not to expect BMW to highlight the cheapening of their optional leather seats in a press release highlighting changes in new models. They informed us that the CD player in the new 2018 X3 would only be there if the car was equipped with Navigation. When the 2020 was announced they never told us the CD was no longer available.

Got your point about the press release. I was trying to say I didn't think using CD players was an appropriate example because I don't think they announce when they stop putting old technology in new cars. People don't listen to CDs like they used to. Nowadays most people like to stream their music. I still listen to CDs in my car, or SiriusXM, but that's me.

You don't equate not announcing they're cheapening the seat composition in their model-changes press release is similar to side-stepping the removal of the CD player? They are both subtle ways to save money while charging more. Cheap bastards!

Do you realize in the current X3 BMW calls the seat you get when you opt for ventilated seats a "multi-contour" seat, even though it has one less seat adjustment than the standard "sport" seat? The side-bolster air bladder doesn't exist in that one. Odd.

My favorite artists still produce CDs and I still buy them.

For one, the artist makes more on a CD sale, especially if I make the purchase on their own web site.

Streaming services offer sometimes only a fraction of a penny for each play.

Support your artists and live music wherever and whenever you can. If you think it's tough out there for you during the pandemic, think about performing artists.

Bump; I believe this could be the vinyl/leather combo if that's a deal breaker for anyone. There is a slight crack on the driver's side bolster and I'm lowering the price to 1200. Thanks for your interest!

Did this sell? Are you willing to sell just the door cards?

Hey, I can't DM yet, but I may be interested. Manual means that it's not the sport seats?

I recollect a post on here somewhere that the leather seats/door card insert to leather seating surface/vinyl everything else was after the 2008 model year. Seems like that was the situation when I had to readhere the door card inserts. They were leather.
