One Thanksgiving when we were in SLC we had a co-worker, who also had no family in town, over for Thanksgiving dinner and I made my usual pumpkin pies; my dad made the crust from scratch, I used frozen crusts. Well at desert time I served one of the pies and the husband kept pulling something out of his mouth with every bite, which I thought was weird, but oh well. After he finished his pie he dumped what was on his plate. Turns out, I grabbed the pie where I forgot to remove the paper separator from between the two frozen crusts! Oops....  |
