I'm personally not all that interested in an Audi, period, but an EV Z4? Sign me up, like right now.

It looks like ass all the way around, and everything Audi touches goes to crap. No demand.

The Z4 M40i weighs 3,500 lbs., terribly close to your dreaded 4,000.

The future of Boxster/Cayman is officially chalked. Confirms sharing platform with Audi TT. Not that it wasn't already done with it going electric.

I don't mind coupe "Concept C", but think that the styling looks better on larger cars, like this XX:

I think Audi, Mercedes, and Lexus are viable alternatives to BMW in many lineups.
Audi RS lineup is pretty compelling, if one is willing to overlook the dullness of AWD (some folks claim it's an advantage).
RS3, for example, is what 3-series should be. Alas, G20 is now a luxo-boat, and G80 is a family pigster. RS3 is ~350lbs lighter than G80, which is hilarious.

Alas, RS3 hasn't been touched by the new design "language", so there is that benefit.

The RS3 is also FWD based so there's that. Not exactly what a 3 Series should ever have underpinning it. There size I agree with you on.

That looks terrible.

The minimalist styling just screams "cheap" and "AI designed for maximum cost savings"

Looks like a conceptualized 350z from alternate universe with an ikea interior.

But I'm genuinely shocked there isn't a 46" sonic ordering menu sweeping across the dash from one side of the car to the other bcuz minimalism.

It's like a worse version of the Audi in the iRobot movie.

Maybe that's what they were going for?

These last two comments nailed it.
