Burnt Titanium Exhaust tips

Hey all,

I'm looking for a pair of burnt titanium exhaust tips that'd fit our stock 135i setup, to replace the standard black ones that come from the factory

I've already contacted BMS to which they said their offerings would not fit our cars

Has anyone found any tips in that "color" to fit?

Image attached of what I'm referring to

I'm not quite sure what size tip the stock 135i exhaust uses?

You can go up to 3.5" since Dinan is that size. I believe stock is 2.5 and BMW PE is 3" Try contacting cyba

Hmmm if that's the case, is there any reason as to why the BMS 3.5in tips won't fit then?

If you're worrying about exhaust tips, why not just have a custom axleback fabricated with whatever size and style tips you want, and however long you want them to be? Or get your current tips cut off and weld on basically ANYTHING.

I love the sound of my current setup to not need change anything outside of end aesthetics of the tips
- AR design catless dp's
- res delete
- oem muffler

I just bought these chinese tips, hoping they look decent in person and will do just as you said, cut off currents and weld these on

http://www.ebay.com/itm/331874401871

They look good enough in pics, just hoping they look good in person lol. Will update when installed

I dunno, I don't think I'd be happy with those. They are clamp on and have some sort of weird interface between the pipe and tip. Look inside the opening.

I would do something more like these:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-5-In-3-5-O...3D261944341697

IF I recall, 80mm is the ideal size for our exhaust cutouts. The above link is 3.5" which is 88mm, which could be a bit tight and may not fit the stock muffler well. A bit of searching and you can certainly find some GORGEOUS tips.

You don't need to cut off the tips.. they're not welded on or anything, they're surprisingly easy to remove.

Of course. That assumes you want slip ons. I personally prefer proper tips which reflect the size of the pipe behind them.

Ended up looking like shit in person, only out $20 on them so oh well

I am going to try these next:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/152178830424...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

I wonder if these are from the same chinese manufacturer who makes them for Akrapovic, or just really good imitation tips. Anyways, will prob look awesome with the CF wrapped around a burnt end. Definitely will look unique on my Alpine White

Just an update

These look really good in person, will get them welded on this evening

Ya ya I know putting Akra tips on a non-akra exhaust is blasphemy, but these fit the look I want and will not lie to anyone into thinking I have an Akra exhaust

Do you remember what size you bought and is it necessary to weld them on? Is it possible to slide them over the stock pipes?
