change tuner band (AM -> FM -> AM) from steering wheel?

The "Audio Source" button on the steering wheel lets me change from tuner to CD and so on. The +/- button lets me change through all the station presets for the band that was last tuned. How do I change bands from the steering wheel?

Everything else seems so thoroughly thought out that it just seems odd you can't do this. But I sure haven't figured it out.

You can assign certain functions via i-drive to a specific button (diamond and star) on a steering wheel

Dunno about in the US but in Europe the 09 models no longer have the diamond and star buttons.

Instead we have a button for cycling the HVAC recirculation and a button for switching audio sources as mentioned by the OP.

Based on that I'd say they don't have the programmable buttons.

I believe that also holds true for iDrive '09 cars in US.

So, anybody know how to change bands from the steering wheel on an '09 non iDrive? On my Acura TL, the steering wheel source button cycles through the tuner bands each as a source then to the CD and so forth.
