Which Exhaust
Berk Street or BMW PE? I like the deep throaty sound of the PE but not a fan of the price.. Never really heard the berk and no really good high quality videos. I currently have A.R catless downpipes so I'm not looking for overly loud just deeper tone! please any help would be much appreciated.
Also can anyone tell me what the difference is in the Factory 135i muffler and the BMW PE? they look on the outside almost identical. I found a thread which showed someone cutting open a factory muffler to modify but no one tried with a PE... Thank you, -Dan |

i used to have the berk and loved it!!!!! I was rear ended and had to replace the exhaust and berk had a 6 month back order. So I went with AFE instead. Not as happy with this exhaust as Berk.

I had Eisenmann Race with BMW Y pipe and AR catless dp great combination.. turns heads.
Also had Berk Race.. much louder and deep.. but way to much DRONE.. that will do your head in.. Im now back to stock exhaust but had been modded.. the 3 holes have been block off and left the perforated holes as is... sounds good.. love it to but not as much as the Eisenmann race |

I currently have the berk race and love it. Though this car is not the daily, my daily has a lot more drone. To me, it is just background noise.
If there is another meet and I can make it, you can do a sound check. BMW CCA is doing some undercarriage session in the south shore on Saturday, July 30, 2016. I will be attending since its a friend's shop. http://www.boston-bmwcca.org/events/...px?EventID=893 I heard the videos and no video does the justice as hearing it in person. |

Does anyone know where I can get my stock OEM exhaust modified to be a PE exhaust in Ma? and is there a step by step on a 135i so I know exactly what needs to be changed?

I love my PE (with Y-pipe). The others are great too. All top notch.
What I love about the PE is that it has a bit of a snarl at certain times that I don't hear with many others - something animalistic, raw, and decidedly un-civilized, which I think is a great counterpoint to being a BMW.
