Recently purchased 135i MHD Question
I recently purchased a 2008 135i with a MHD Custom Tune flashed to the ECU.
Previous owner kept tablet he used because it was a personal one, so has anyone ever been able to install MHD and buy the flasher module license on a different tablet and modify the options from there? Thanks. |

Ask the previous owner to send you the custom tune binary file.
You will need to buy MHD licenses for yourself, but then there will be nothing stopping you from re-flashing the car using your MHD to change options etc. MHD prevents you from reading any flash/files back from your ECU; but you'll be able to associate your new tablet/MHD to the car without issue. (It's not like some other tuners where the car was 'locked' to the dongle.) |

Ya, you can if you are logged into the same google play account, but you wont be, so just buy a new one.
