Harold: Thanks for all the direct linking. I wasn't sure how to do it with Photobucket.

Very similar to Silverstone II. Anyone seen Blue Water and SSII next to each other?

Thanks for the pictures. From the look of things blue water 1's are going to be a rarity out there (and that's the way I like it!)

I'm really liking this colour. Need to see it in person.

Yes, I'd love to see this color in person too. I'm an Arctic Metallic fan (my dealer thinks I'm crazy...whatever). I wonder if this is close?

Yes, at BMW Welt. Blue Water is more blue, and a touch lighter. SSII has a slightly darker blue touch mixed in with the silver, from how it looks to me, and is more silver overall.

I'm not sure which I like better, I generally really like this sort of silver/blue.

Thanks!

It's actually very different from Artcitc Metallic. Arctic Metallic to me looks like a much lighter version of SS2 with some green mixed in.

Blue Water is more blue, and perhaps a TOUCH darker.

This color looks amazing! Would definitely attract the ladies since it's a chick color. But hey I wouldn't mind!!

I know what you mean. I was thinking of that as I went back and forth and ultimately went with this color. Like the alpine white, I like the way the light blue contrasts with the dark grill color.

Not that it's not nice looking, but chick color is exactly what I thought. I wonder if that's intentional or just a US view.

Just 2 more weeks to go! I'm getting anxious to take her out for a ride up the coast. I still haven't seen any other 1 series around other than the dealers.

Has anyone seen a Blue Water with Terra Cotta interior yet? I am thinking about this combo but would like to see some pictures of it.

Cool. Mine went on the boat 6/12 and is supposed to be in Colorado by 7/10. So, this time next month I should be rolling in it.

Seems like a long way away frankly,

Got mine a week ago. I went through the White Mountains this weekend. What a great ride. The weather was crappy so no good pictures yet, but I'll work on it. Outside a restaurant in North Conway a couple of guys were standing in front of it checking it out as we walked out. They said "Nice car, I bet that one goes". I said "Oh Yeah". I've been getting a lot of double takes. It's been fun to see the reactions.

Did you take the Kang (Kancamangus)? Or Bear Notch Road? Those are a couple of my favorites, as long as you don't get a string of campers in front of you. Even so, in these cars it would be a snap to pass a long string of them.
