M2 rumored 400ps would you trade?

http://www.worldcarfans.com/11404077...00-ps---report

Not sure how many have seen this article but if this is indeed true, it would be very interesting to see how many switch from the 1M to the M2.

394 horsepower is awesome. It still looks terrible.

I'm sure it'll be a tour de force of excitement, enjoyment, and comfort, but the outside is still going to look like a *****y "blah" bully stereotype.

Only thing that could save it is a technoviolet option.

I won't sell the 1M but I have cleared garage space for the arrival of the M2.

The M2 won't quite have 400 Hp, it will be less. Like I said before, it will be more in the 370 to 380 range and powered by a version of the N55, not S55.

On paper so far it sounds like a great successor to the 1M

the M2 renders are VERY exciting. Originally i thought i was going to pursue the 1M after my 135is lease is over....but honestly i am starting to lean towards the M2. It looks like the same formula set to an improved suspension and chassis configuration.....let's just hope the styling gets really aggressive like the 1M was.

I'm pretty sure BMW is not stupid. I'm pretty sure they have learned from the 1M story that plenty of people want this type of car and i think they will milk it for all its worth!

Now all we need are a few commitments from the 1M guys to sell their cars when this comes out, and many people will be anxiously thrilled.

i really hope that the M2 will share certain things with the M3/4 - similarly to how the 1M and E9X M3 shared various parts. i always felt that this makes modding so much more fun as the supply/demand is much bigger

I could be talked into upgrading. Time and performance will tell.

Things I'm concerned about are the steering feel and the stupid piped in engine noise. I am really hoping they can trim some fat too. The new 2 series is getting to be a porker.

Seriously. I keep lurking on the 2er forum to hear more secret info on the M2 or some new PS. It's insane that a car that doesn't even exist yet can have so much of my attention
No, it's not. That's how a lot of 1M owners got their cars.

I don't know if it makes upgrading more fun, but reliability-durability (under extreme stress) is foremost in my mind
With such a small (1M) market, we owe so much to the E9x drivers.

Guess you are first on the list for another exclusive invitation to M2 testing in Deutschland?
