+1 I want some figures now. Video is nice. Numbers don't lie.

Cant wait for some concrete news to come down the pipeline. The car looks better each time. Little bodyroll , nice fender and body work. The wheels look like the same (in fact i think they are judging by the videos) 19" offered on the 2011 M3 with competition package.

Cant wait to here some real news straight from BMW..

I wish that it was NA. Turbos are a poor man's way to performance and unfortunately BMW's future... Long live the 128i!!!!!

Minimum bodyroll - that's how all BMW should be... and what our car should have been.

Scott pretty much said it will have quads and powerdome but the question is if it is going to be dual exhaust - as an exhaust for each 3 cylinders and each turbo would make this great.

I agree.

I really can't get my head around this anal obsession with quads that so many people have

I agree that quads give the car a much more aggressive look, but if it's not necessary, why even bother, it just added weight...

Its really amusing to see how people react to thinking (wishfully) there'll be an M1 sometime in the future.
135is at the most?

And to those that don't understand why people want quads.... Are you just trying to be obtuse or are you all really that stupid? People want the quads because that is what every M car has come with for about 10 years now. Simple.

I want quads because I want the "M1" to be a real M, it means it has to distinguish itself from the 135i M and 135i Performance.

It's funny how we get a comment like this every time a new thread comes on by someone who hasn't been following the developments....

There would have to be a better reason than that, otherwise you might get a Lexus quad.

Personally, I just think there are bigger things to concern yourself about rather than the number of needless pipes poking out from the rear bumper. But that's just me.

If I recall, my E30 M3 didn't have quads. Neither did any M model prior to the E46 M3.

While we're at it, the M division never put a carbon fiber roof on a car until the current M6. Should they not have done that because every M car before it had a steel roof?

I could go on, but why bother. Things change, it's that simple.

Anyway, the model that Scott saw for his work had powerdome, quads, M Vents etc, as he already said they are largely cosmetics.

That might actually mean no dual exhaust despite the quads.

I think the Rolling Stones have the perfect song that fits a lot of people that will disappointed with the name or disappointed that it does or does not have quads or disappointed with the HP or TQ or that they will use Turbos instead of a NA car or that it's too heavy and not enough color choices.

Reading comprehension FTL.... If you want to get technical, 2 models prior to the e46 M3 had quads; the M5 and Z3M.

I don't care either way so long as the car performs reasonably well. However, I don't get how so many people don't understand why people want quads. No amount of arguing is going to change it. Quads have become a staple for M cars for awhile now, so that would be why people expect them, or "obsess" about them.
