Hopefully he buys his wife something nice and puts some away to send HIS kids to college. The taxes he pays on his income will be wasted by the government on feeding the #Occupiers in his state.

The second one with 17,900 miles says that he did not put up any ad. So that's a fake.

The third one seems to have taken a picture from the first one.

It's a big cluster faak mess.....

I contacted the car selling for 21K. She e-mailed me back saying that she is divorced and wants to sell the car as she doesn't have a driver's license.

Then I e-mailed her and asked how come the car is registered to some guy in Florida. And her ad says TEXAS. Then she replied:

Hello Brian,
Please let me explain to you the process of this transaction and you can decide if you want to proceed or not.
As I told you in my first email, I recently got divorced. I also got a new job and moved to Omaha Nebraska in order to start over. I'm in Omaha Nebraska but my presence won't be necessary because I prearranged the deal with PayPal. The car is in Omaha at the shipping company, ready to be delivered. The deal includes free delivery and it will arrive at your address in 3 to 5 working days. You will have 5 days to test it and inspect the car prior to making any purchase and if by any reason you find something you don't like about it you can send it back at my expense. If you want to make this deal I need the following details from you: full name, address, and phone#.
Once I have your info I will forward them to PayPal to get things started. PayPal will contact you shortly after they have the details with all the information that you need to complete this
deal and you will also have proof that I am covered by them and a legitimate seller. Waiting for your email with the requested details.
Regards

Susan

Can you say SCAM???

Scam

That's hilarious , I've got that same email on two different cars on craigslist. I guess in scam school it's preprinted only names and emails left blank. but seriously I wish the Internet police could follow through and catch these crooks who get sent thousands of dollars from hard working unsuspecting people.

66? No thanks I was just at Lexus dealer I can get a new ISF for the amount w.o. any negotiation. It isn't pound for pound equal for driving experience but that v8 and the interior appointments more than make up for the slight driving difference.

There's 17 of them on autotrader right now ($55k lowest price)
There's another 3 white ones at carmax as well
So there's plenty to be had for under $66k

I've been stalking the 1M forums for a bit now... plan on trading my Z4 in for a 1M.

With this car's resale I've noticed miles matter waaaaay more than options. Nav / Premium / Keyless start mean much less than low mileage.

Am I missing something here? A fully loaded 1M in 2011 was 55k and they are all listed for more than that 2+ yrs later. Instant collectible.

OK. So I've seen the high prices for 1M cars but are buyers actually paying anywhere near these asking prices?

no. prices are definitely falling and the sale prices have often been significantly less than asking. Ask me why I know! haha----I've still been shopping 1Ms

So what range in purchase price have you recently seen? I'm looking at a BSM with approx. 14K miles fully loaded. Thanks for input!

I saw a white 1M, about 17K miles at Kuni BMW in Portland that they had up for $60k asking initially, then a week later they jacked it up to $65k and added all the pics. Here's a link in case anyone is interested.

Sold yesterday. Wouldn't specify the sale price.

Interesting. Thanks for the heads up. But ya, people still asking $60-65k, though I'm always curious what they actually sell for. Somehow it's one the few cars ever to appreciate after a couple of years. Bet it sold for $60k.
