The 'from-a-far' pictures look good: the roof seems to chime in nicely with the black tires. Certainly calls for more pics imo.

I planned on that. In fact for a week it was that way, but the hole where the antenna screws into wasnt flush with the roof and it was showing through the vinyl. Id have to sand it down and that meant sanding through paint so I went with the fin. If I ever go real CF I will flush it out and leave it off.

Edit: you can even see it in the pic I posted if you look closely

Indeed on second look it does show. Thx for pioneering, removing the antenna hole is on my mod list. I'll start thinking on how to 'fill' the holes before wrapping.

Even with the screw hole flushed (it was actually flush on my 135, the M situation might just be a one off thing affecting only my car) the opening for the antenna and the 3 alignment holes for the shark fin will show through the vinyl. That didnt bother me though, the piece sticking up like a nipple did.

For those of you into autocross, there is one put together by the LA Chapter of the BMW CCA this Sunday 03/11 @ Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, more info here...

It will be fun to have more 1Ms in the ///M Stock class along with the regular M3s. The LA Chapter run a good autocross program. If you haven't done an auto-x, you should, is not as hard on the car as a track day and even though speeds are not high, you get to enjoy the car.
