What an amazing ad. 4400 klms!!!. It looked like the owner had placed a smiley face on the wheel boss in place of the BMW roundel until the camera angle changed. Normally don't like orange cars but it suits this one. It will most likely end up in a private collection and only be seen on show days, just like the ones in all of the 1addict's rare supercar collections.

i dont think its particularly good looking either but i think its "collectability" lies in its limited build of 455 and the fact it was a a result of collaboration with Lamborghini

You are probably not the only one. Most would not call the M1 ugly. Most would not call the M1 beautiful. It is attractive. And unique for a BMW, being the only mid engined production BMW ever built.

I has been included in many lists as being one of the best sports cars of all time.
