Delivered VO with new Performance Steering Wheel!!

Just got my car a few minutes ago, here a some quick picture of it with the steering, It's my first BMW with Idrive and looking at the manual for the steering, i'll spend the week-end playing in my garage to learn it all!!!!

Rainy day today, so did not push the car, in fact I drove like my grand mother on the way home.
The sound is amazing! and the feel of the clutch and gearbox is perfect, easy to drive the car smoothly...

I ll post more pictures later when it's nice outside!!!

From the dealer they just received them, they were on back order for the last few months...

I did a CDV mod on my 335, I would think there is no CDV on this one...

Does the steering wheel have shift lights like the previous PW? Also, it would look sick with matching orange stitching!!!

Yes shift lights,

There are 3 menus:

Efficient Dynamics
Sport Mode
Track Mode

You can also buy an optional beacon that will report lap times.

If you are referring to the trim at top, it's plastic, the shift lights show through that part

Normally, even //M car have the CDV.

#13 is the CDV...

Are you the first to get the new wheel?

It's odd how the plastic light panel at the top is not recessed into the wheel like the previous version (which I have). From this angle it looks a bit cheap IMHO, but perhaps it's just the lighting.

I wonder if it has anything to do with the covering. On the previous version the light panel was recessed into the wheel and it was leather at the top/bottom, with only alcantara on the sides.

No they are the Performance grills from BMW

Is your steering wheel top still covered with some plastics?
It doesn't look right, it doesn't resemble the picture of the performance steering wheel Mk2 on your steering wheel manual.

Or either this picture from bmw website is not correct:
