May not be throwing codes, but it might be lugging it to go WOT and system is responding to a knock or ping that is cutting timing. Probably doesn't do it in third.... No way to log?

I towed her to the shop not risking driving it, I'm hoping its just a water pump as they are known to fail. I noticed the Car only hesitates when warm. I was lucky to get off a 7 lane hwy with zero throttle to a side road.
I only have 60000 km shitty way to end the week |

Exact same thing happened to my 135i when the water pump broke. Your car was putting itself into limp mode.
A few days before my failure, I noticed a hesitation while on the freeway in 6th when I hit the gas. Then, while in the fast lane of the 5, I got the engine temp warning, and the car went into full limp mode. I thankfully there was minimal traffic, as I had to pull across 6+ lanes with the hazards on and no power. New water pump, thermostat and fresh coolant at the shop and I was on my way. I had around 32k miles at the time IIRC, so not far off from where you're at. |
