No, it's telling you how many miles until you need to go in. When it's time for a service it will read 0.

its not my problem ill let bmw figure it out tomorrow... i do know i have to have my computer reprogrammed anyway or at least thats what I was told.. im not 2 concerned about the oil level someone just threw it out there that if my oil life monitor was screwy so could my oil level monitor... the computer says its at 100% and I have no dipstick... lets just hope that bmw was right when they trusted there computer more than the owner
