Has anyone NOT seen a 1er on the road yet?

Saw a black one Sunday going westbound on 376. !st one sighting for me!! (other than my own). I was more excited over that than the Lotus Elise I spotted about 2 min before that :wub:!!

I've seen a couple of 1ers on the road, but I'm seeing more Smart cars than E82s.

i saw one lady with a 1 near me in ny and i waved in excitement and she just looked at me akwardly... shouldnt there be a rule that you have to wave to other 1ers?!?!?! hahaha just my opinion!

Live in the Bay Area. I've only seen one on the road (BSM) in the city and one in my office garage in the financial district (I think SGM).

Still haven't seen a 1er on the road yet, here in the boonies. I finally caved in, and drove to the nearest dealer, an hour away, just to see one. They had a 128 on the lot. I liked the lines of the car, but I did not like Sedona Red.

I also did not like the "extra sticker" which included another $500 of paint and interior protection services. I do those things myself quite well, and I really don't want to deal with a dealer with that mindset.

Oh, well, I guess it is time for a roadtrip....

I have seen a 1er only twice so far. One is saddy's, I think he lives really close by.

Finally saw one.

I was up in Toronto this weekend with the friend who did all the test drives with me. We were walking around downtown and she had just mentioned to me that she hadn't seen any 1ers in the wild. We walked up to an intersection and the crosswalk had just changed to tell us to stop, so we did. I looked at the on-coming cars, scanning the BMWs like I normally do now and narrowed my eyes. There in the front looked like it could be a 1er. Sure enough, as it passed, I confirmed it -- green 1er coupe.

So, if you were on Wellington at York on Friday around 6pmish, I saw you.

Just after getting mine last week, I saw a blue water 135i go past me just three blocks from my apartment this Sunday.

I waved, but was walking at the time and I just got a weird look in return. Oops.

I finally saw a 1-series, drop top, and the light water blue color. in Beverly Hills, Ca. It looked nice, it stood out too. FINALLLY right.

and in the same night, i saw a Effing Nissan GT-R with a girl driving it. my jaw litterally just droppppppeeed.

not in the us...saw a $hitload in the netherlands, including a really sweet two door hatch 123d on display inside schipol.

Haha. This is one of the few things I miss about my Jeep. Almost all Jeep Wrangler owners wave at each other.

We should all start a similar fraternity.

That doesn't count...we're talking about THE one series...the reason for BMW proclaiming this as "Year One of the 1"

^ lol, which I've always thought was total BS since the "1" has been alive for a few years now over-sea's. Even if it was/is a different shape, it has still been out...

Its just a gimmick to try to create hype for the car and increase desire.

I disagree. The 135i is arguably a VERY different car when you compare its engine, performance specs, and exterior design. You are hung up on semanitics! But I won't get further into this, as this isn't the right thread for this topic...

I FINALLY saw my first ever 1 in DC!!! It was a 135i that was sparkling graphite (I think), brownish interior, and with a BMW of Fairfax license plate frame (still had temp tags). It was parked in front of one of the World Bank buildings (next to a cafe).

Haven't seen one int the state yet, including my own (its on a boat somewhere in the north atlantic, expect at the dealer. But on a recent trip to Canada I spied two. Go figure.

I have only seen 1, near BOFA at Visitacion Valley- cashmere, and except those at dealerships. So where art thou? I guess the approx 10k limit for the 2008 worked!
