WMI Newbie Problems
Hey folks
I recently installed a WMI kit and am having problems with it. I've had some brief discussions with Mike @ N54 Tuning who has been helping me, but I figured I'd post here for a wider audience. 2008 135i N54 Catless DP's, DCI, FMIC JB4 w/ FSB VRSF CP w/ HKS BOV Stock plugs with about 15,000km on them 91 octane I bought a BMS kit from N54 Tuning. Single BM10 nozzle, running 50/50 WM mix, map 3. It flows very well every time on 7/5 test spraying to a water bottle. I installed the kit and was having trouble from the get go. I haven't had it working successfully yet. First I had issues with leaks and bubbles and attributed it to that. But that is resolved and it is almost always going into limp mode. I have had it go to safety (map 4), but not this morning. All times this morning it has gone to limp with no CEL but stayed on map 3. Any ideas? This is my first time trying logs so I'm not sure if what I've included is valuable. Historically I've just run on map 1 or 5 without issue pre WMI kit. |

Do you run your system on a set psi to turn meth on? Or do you have an on/off switch? Well either way when you do a pull and let off the gas. The meth will continue to drip. I had to turn meth off put it in neutral and rev it to clear the intake. If your manual trans just press the clutch down and give it a rev. Those drip were giving me a code but not limp mode. Or try to bump it up a little for less water like 70/30.
It might help. Might not. Not sure if i had the same issue as you |
