Question for Canadian 1M/1/3/5/6/7/X owners. Is internet enabled with your iDrive? I use a Rogers iPhone 4, and am wondering if the internet will work via tethering.

Not sure what you mean. In stock forum you cant 'browse' the internet. As far as I know their isn't a browser integrated in the iDrive system.

With BMW Apps you can access internet radio, Facebook, etc. Hopefully the future of BMW Apps will integrate an email reader of some sort.

And for the record, no I am not planning on surfing the internet while driving. I just want to have the full capability enabled.

Did anyone ever get Internet working in Canada? Is this something we can hack/code, if it isn't currently possible?

My understanding was that it is not compatible in NA, but I'm probably wrong about this.
