N54 codes 2B2C and 29F2, HPFP issue?

Hey guys,

I have been having issues with rough idles on cold starts to the point that the car stalled while idling in rhe garage this morning. I get the yellow half engine light with the expected reduced power. Once the engine is up to operating temp I can restart and everything is fine.

Should I take the car in for the HPFP extended warranty (I have 70k miles), or is this another issue for which I should go to an indie shop?

Thanks!

Having HPFP and low pressure sensor replaced.

Cost me $130 to replace the sensor, and the HPFP is under warranty. I figure $55 is worth not having to DIY the sensor (as I can get one online for $75)

Update... I am now on the side of the road in the cold rain...

Car is making horrible knocking and scratching sounds coming from the HPFP area that change with RPMs. Looks like a pulley is about to fall of... is there a pulley for the HPFP that gets loosened when replacing?

This appears to be the pulley on the front of the HPFP. This doesn't look right to me and the pulley was wobbling, does it look wrong to anyone else?

The car is at the dealer, has been since ~7 pm yesterday (right as they closed ) and they haven't even looked at it when I called today (they closed 15 minutes ago to boot). I'm debating on towing it elsewhere in the morning if they don't get in touch with me tonight.
