And it's used. Looks like it was a PCD pickup and drive home.

Definitely marinaras car then. Can't say that I blame him. First person that offers me 90k for mine gets it.

Probably treated better than the one Pacific BMW was selling (for the same price, IIRC).

Seems a bit opportunistic to me. There are new ones to be had for $10-20k over MSRP.

Sigh. Lame.

I guess business is business, but aren't there any real BMW fans anymore?

No comment re: the seller (may very well be a real fan), but I suspect a real BMW fan will buy it.

Personally, there isn't much that I wouldn't sell for 50% over retail, if someone were to offer it to me.

Isn't this the guy that wanted to put 3M film over his door sills? Definitely seemed WAY too anal to me, but I figured he was in it for the long haul...

Yes, I assume the detailer got out the marks from the Griot's film (http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=571356), no mention of this in the ebay ad:

MusclezMarinara wrote: "It really messed up my paint and I now have to hope that today my detailer can get all the marks out of the paint.. not sure if you can see in the pics but left a heavy residue. I tried clay baring....wax and even a light goof off....so pissed off the cars not even a week old and this bull$hit happens."

not a chance on that one, my friends. what a joke - and yes, i agree, it's his right to sell it for what he can. i don't find that part bad...but if it is the same person who experienced flaws in the paint and he's not mentioning them, that's shady.

where is the guy from again?

I assume there were no flaws in the paint and that issue was fixed by detailing. Would you report on your eBay listing that you once had a bird crap on your car?

Sorry. Didn't mean to flame the OP but this car isn't just a run of the mill investment.

The auction's a bit deceiving since it lists the car as new. Legally, it's a used car and has to be sold as such.

its 90K Buy it now.... OR best offer...

I'd say he is fishing but isnt gonna catch much... says title is clear so he paid cash

wonder if he did the 1200 mile service yet??? its got 1100 on it now.. Msrp was approx 54,500.....

and with this weekends Hurricane i hope he keeps it high and dry or else he is gonna have a 90k paperweight

Sad....i dont like the idea of flipping cars like this. ...but i guess he saw it as an investment / potential wind fall..

wonder if he will respond to thread ??

Plus one. I hope he is an enthusiast, that had a bad incident occur, and not a broker, speculator. seems like a minor incident, not worth selling a collectible for, however some people have to have a perfect vehicle.

Hopefully you can sell it before the 20 footers start rolling in! Good luck.
