The valve closes (non modded) when engine starts, thats what the vacuum line is for, when you block the line, no vacuum , stays open , more noise. The valve normally opens as revs rise above 3000rpm.

Yep, I know this. So, I should take a photograph when the engine is running also? Hmm

Jammin a camera in the exhaust when its running might be fun!
