I hope not. I have to go to Europe for a 2 week vacation (sounds worse then it is I guess) mid June, so would rather have it before then.....

Just called and my car has arrived at the port of exit - Bremerhaven.

I got mine from Darien. The Greenwich guys are too cocky. Didn't want to deal. Darien gave me $800 off MSRP in March, so I was happy. Plus it's closer to home. Thanks for the shipping data. I just called the 800 number and it says 'your vehicle production is complete and is waiting to be released to the carrier'...so does that mean at port of exit??? I sure want to be on one of those next few boats. This 1 series is already high maintenance affair and I haven't even touched it....lol

It means you are waiting for a ride to the port. You may well be sitting in the port at this time as the 800# is about a day late. If you make the next boat out, you are looking at the 3rd week of May for delivery.

I was in that status for 3 days before it changed to "in transit to the port of exit". I have now been in that status for 2 days. So it could take 3-5 days just for you to catch a train to the port, then who knows how long before you actually catch a boat. The one good thing you have going for you is you're on the East coast. The trip is shorter and the boats seem to be more frequent.

Thanks guys. It's like walking a patient through a complex operation.....what has happened to us? Ever get caught talking to your more rational friends who scratch their head and say 'buying a new BMW?' And, then, you're like 'but you don't understand.....this is not a car you buy used'. Agggh, the beauty of emotional responses to otherwise rational arguments. So the boy will go to state college, it's not like the text books are any different.....are they?

Where's that freakin' boat already?....LOL

I went to Darien first and they would't budge. I got $1,600 off at Greenwich fairly easily, no haggling.

In any event, call the 800 # and speak to a rep for a realtime update. My car was at the port a day after it finished production (4/22).

Now we just gotta wait...

I must have gotten lucky and just caught the train. Mine finished production on Tuesday the 22nd and checking this morning it's already on it's way to port....does someone know the dates of ships leaving for East Coast? specifically to SC for PC Delivery?? Hoping to get in for a May 30th PC Date

We're Rockin the exactly same schedule and delivery haha...I'm trying to shoot for PCD on May 30th...far off but unfortunately it's the only Friday i have free...

my cars at the port as well! I was going to order from Greenwich but they gave me an excuse when I wanted to test drive it so I went to Pace in Mamaroneck. I cant wait:thumbup:

Yea, the way I read that is that those completed on the 24th are on the train to the boat...but those completed on the 23rd are not? Mine was done on the 23rd, I would think it would be shipped before those done on the 24th unless I am missing something ?

Ok, found out why mine has not yet made it to the ship. While the automated line said production was complete on the 23rd, it actually was not completed until today the 25th. It was just released to the truck/train today. It should be on the ship early next week and on its way. I thought something might of went wrong in Q&A with my car <paranoid I know>, but she was able to pull up that it just went into the body and paint shop on the 20th and 21st which she said is the normal "out of the body shop into Q&A" time frame of about 5 days.

This...is torture!
