Congrats Zuzu.

Yes, Black gloss trim is available. I have seen it on a 120i convertible delivered. It has metallic sparkles in it.

It is a GOOD question whether it is available on a 135i on not in Australia. The brochure seems to suggest that it IS. I would be most dissappointed if mine came with the incorrect trim. I would expect more from BMW.

I am still trying to see if I can get my shadowline trim changed for chromeline.

Thanks Alex..
The dealer wasnt too fazed about not being able to change over the trim..He seems to think it is available.
He was just as pissed as I was that it was in correct.

But what pissed me off was $3K or so for so called F##### dealer charges and no one noticed the trim was wrong..

Like Black/silver...wake up boys...did you even check over the car.:iono::iono:

Totally agree with your Zuzu. These BS dealer charges obviously count for very little; you would expect them to recruit more perceptive staff for these fees.

Congrats Joe! Love the plate fitness guru! Btw, I don't understand the wrong order thing. Didn't your dealer write to you confirming the order before it went into production? Mine did.

Thanks Wayne..
I have all the duplicate confirmations for the order which I took along for delivery in case there was a F### up.
My order coincided with the dealers factory confirmation order.

Everything was there in black and white...EXCEPT my correct trim...

According to the options price list, the black trim is not available for the 135i coupe however is available for the 135i convertible

That's correct. I tried to get the high gloss black on my coupe but the dealer could not put it in the system. It just rejected the option. It is available on the convertible though. Why? No idea.

The glaciar silver trim is the bubble boy and the accented aluminium is the brushed aluminuim.

Great looking car zuzu. Looks fantastic in black. How are you finding the comfort access? At leat the sun is out this morning. Topless driving for you!

Is it possible that any order with black gloss trim is being defaulted to bubble boy? Has anyone received the black gloss trim on a delivered 135 so far?
Yes, same here. I wanted gloss black as well but was told it was n/a. So settled for grey poplar. I think you're right there re gloss black being defaulted to bubble boy.

Thanks Harpoon..
The CA is fantastic..
Even more so on the vert seeing you can also open and close the roof remotely.
Just took her for a shopping trip into the City to keep the missus happy..
Had the roof off on the way back...just fantastic with the roof off...Heated seats amazing.
Front seats you dont feel the cold breeze...But in the back..bit cold.

Hi Alex..
Just realised that the Black Gloss trim gets deleted once you choose the M Sports pack on the vert. It reverts back to bubble boy as the default.
On the 135i vert the M sports pack is still a $1100 option where on the Coupe it is standard.
Thats why the 120i vert you saw had the black..It would not of had the M sports pack..
Now I just hope the dealer doesnt realise this..lol
I want a dicounted CF trim deal..lol

Hi Rupert..
I purchased from Sylvania not Canterbury..

Spoke with Phil who is the Dealer Principle/Nats partner, and he will either replace for black if possible or compensate on CF trim..

I just thought there was too many colours in the cabin with the bubble trim..Black/bubble/coral...
Thats why I opted for the Black trim..One less colour.
You thought the exact same thing as us - however we've got AW so we were willing to go one more. 3 colours is a standard combo for any pattern. I saw the high gloss piano black on a 335i at the dealer today, it's kinda boring but better than the bubble wrap. The dealer is currently getting back to us with how long it will be to rectify this mistake! Grrrr!

Can you let us know how much the CF trim will be?? Would LOVE to go down this road. Cheers!

Any news Zuzu?
I've called my dealer mentioning that this problem has occured across a few deliveries and that another dealer has suggested compensating for the cost of CF with the difference paid by the user. They're getting back to me.

Originally they said they'd just pull it off another car, but the thing is - then that means THAT person gets the wrong trim too! Ha. Idiots!
