Hey guys,

I recently purchased some E82 seats to put in my 2011 335D (E90). Driver side works great with some modification. As for the passenger side it only works intermittently. When I first plug the seat in it will work for about 10 seconds perfectly then after that it stops and only lumbar/bolsters work. If I unplug it and plug it back in same thing. I have already swapped switches and seat modules and that did nothing.

the coupe and sedan/touring passenger seats have different diagram because coupe passenger seat also requires fast movement forth and back, and therefore coupe passenger seat has module with memory which requires can-bus to operate
so you either need to bring the can bus to coupe seats and try to code car to interact with coupe seats or replace the modules, putting sedan modules to passenger seat
