The only thing that causes the waste gate rattle is the actuator rod bushing wear.

Tell him to send you pic of waste gate actuator bushing.

Also - there is a 600$ refund core charge so idk why they would have returned if it was replaced.

As I mentioned before this wastegate rods can be adjusted via DIY.

This is certainly on my list. I am having my downpipes installed in a couple weeks, so I figure this will be the perfect time to adjust the wastegate rods.
