Prem HiFi software patch... and other services

Just got my 1'er back from the dealer after installing the patch that should rectify the "dead radio" on start-up syndrome. So far so good. Comes on every time I turn on the ignition. I was worried it would wipe out the Bluetooth pairing info, but it was all there. As with anything like this, I was concerned it would end up creating more problems that it would solve. I brought it on Friday morning and they had problems with the downloading, so it stretched out to yesterday, but they finally got it done. Thankfully, everything seems to be good...

Also had the rough idle issue. They did a gasoline analysis and found my last batch of Shell premium came in at 80 octane! Just a freak incident, I guess.

I put in Mobile 93 this time around and we'll see how it responds. On the bright side, they didn't charge me for the gasoline analysis since the software patch took so long to complete.

Are you refering to the radio that cuts out for a second or two after the car is first started?

Sounds like normal behavior when the MOST bus gets reset. See the FAQ.
