Many times if you add shipping and duties it ends up costing the same as the local dealer that gives me 15% discount...

Looks great! What's the material like? Hoping it is like the Covercraft FormFit (flannel-like) I have on the 135i. Very soft and thick at the same time, perfect for indoors.

Is there any way you can lock this cover so someone can't come along and just take it?

but just to show how correct you are... here is a direct quote from the release bulletin for the 1M car cover Notes: This car cover will also fit 128i and 135i Coupes (not Convertibles). There will be a limited quantity of this car cover available until a full production ramp-up occurs in October 2011. talk about BMW getting every last drop out of "limited production"

we do know the distance from the mirror pockets to the top of the rear window may be different and they may have sewed it a little different, but honestly i cant see how it would not fit... the 3 series coupe and convert use the same cover fyi.. look here for yourself... http://www.martworkshop.com/index.ph...rints/Cars/BMW there seem to be some dimensional differences at roof height.

The car cover looks great.
A second site offering at $260 Circle BMW NJ http://www.circlebmwparts.com/cgi-bi...w_records=View I garage my car but still thinking about a cover to keep the brush byes from turning into scratches. The only time a cover makes sense is when the car has just been washed, no dust at all. This keeps the cover from getting dust inside and rubbing the paint each time on and off. The cover must be a pretty tight fit to keep out the dust. IMO
