Radiator Vent line
My radiator vent line broke while removing the fan. Was wondering if anyone has an idea of what the 3-way junction is called.
Thanks!!! |

Once you replace that coolant hose and any lost coolant... don't forget to bleed the cooling system. With a cold engine, turn the key on, but engine not running... then put your foot on the throttle and hold it to the floor for fifteen seconds. You will hear the electric water pump start to run to "burp" any air out of the system.
Q). What did you damage that hose ? Why did you pull the radiator fan out? Were you replacing the serpentine belt by chance ? Dack

The fan cracked in between one of the blades. I just replaced the belt and idler pulley a month ago and had it out previously. But anyhow, when I turn the A/C on and the fan kicks up speed it makes a god awful noise due to the cracked blade. So pulled it. While pulling it I broke that vent. And of course, the universal fan that should for from ECS came without a mounting kit. So, super fun day. |
