They were $32 a piece at MSRP from my local dealer. They want like $107 or something if you have them install, but this is the biggest joke in the world. I told them that for $107 I would buy them off eBay for under $50. So, my CA told me that he would help me put them on if I bought them from the dealer. I agreed since I already had a credit. I kid you not, 20 second installation max. They slide right on the end of the pipe and there is a hex screw that tightens, but they will stay on even if not tightened. We slid them on when I took delivery two and a half weeks ago and I still have not gotten around to tightening them. They are stuck on there and won't come off, so it's no biggie.

So, if you get them from the dealer, don't pay for installation, just buy at MSRP or work them into your car deal. If you are willing to wait and want the cheapest price, consider PacificBMW parts department or get them off eBay.

Hope this helps.

I think they should just be standard. Not fair to 325i buyers for a 32K+ car!

I agree. Why should my 37K car come stock with dirty pipes.

I actually prefer the 325 exhaust tips over chrome ones.

You're smoking dope.

Just call your dealer and order them or see if they have them in stock. I also agree they are a must have. I put them on the E91 before we left the lot.

The tips should be standard across the board considering BMW has such a fine eye for detail on all of their finished products.

The car looks incomplete without them.

I got mine included with the car, no extra cost.

ordered my exhaust tips, put them on and had 1 ripped off within 10 days. They are cheap. The 330's are a little more durable. Theres an old thread from last month about how 2 left 330 pipes will work on the 325i.

the part number for the left side 330i tip is 18-30-7-549-558.

i got the tips and pedals installed at the dealer before I even picked up the car and they charged me $480 for both things includinginstallation, they ripped me off, but oh well. I was so happy when i got the car that i didnt even care.
I look at 325s with no tips and I feel soooo bad

When I saw our 325i Touring for the first time there were already some rust spots on the exhaust tips. I immediately got the chrome tips which look good. Piece of cake to fit them.

I only was wondering if they are the same as the 330i has OEM (Euro specced) fitted ?

I got my tips today. I installed them in about 10 minutes. They look so much better than before. They ended up being like $56 after shipping. The $24 was per tip, so they were $48 for both plus shipping.

The lack of chrome tips on the 325i is likely a well-calculated marketing strategy. It's a small, but fine detail that helps symbolically differentiate the 330i from the 325i, but also makes those without them pay to obtain them.
