Question US or Southern US Module/ECU Repair shops

Is there any US based ECU/Module ( CAS/JBE/GSW/DME ) repair places any more?

I find in Europe and Asia, so many places that repair, flash, re program modules with AutoHex II and xhorse VVDI PROG. ANd now many places can't ship back to a US address due to US laws to keep repairs impossible.

BimmerScan in Southern California has been great in the past, though I am now waiting a few days on a response. Is there not any other place where you can get this done?

If I had $4k, I would buy the eeprom reader, flasher, adapters, cabling, and software, but for 20 mins worth of work to do once every few years, it seems quite affordable and a poor choice.

It's quickly soldering a few wires, reading some data, flashing, clearing, de-soldering, and confirm it's booting and fully functional

I guess like healthcare, I'll need to book a flight to to Poland or the UK to things done.

Folks in the pacific region seem to be far more capable..

Maybe a trip to New Zealand or Australia is in order...

Not US based but close enough in Canada. I've kept this place in mind for future use if needed.

A quick Google search also found these although I'm not sure if they're well regarded or not.

Thanks everyone. Unfortunately none of them do actual electronic repair by replacing chips/ICs/transisters/resistors/etc. They just do programming -- flashing bins, and matching ISNs, and use used/"refurbished" modules or need replacements sent in.

Bosch Germany does DME repair, but apparently US law prevents citizens from being able to ship for repairs back and forth.

To clarify this is MEVD17x related, older MSD8x is within some of these places capabilities.
