dual projector Headlight globe change

Hey Guys,

had a highbeam globe burn out last week so i thought i take the time to order 4x replacement LED globes for both my high/low beams, after doing some research it appeared i needed H7 globes for both, after opening the housings i can't for the life of me see how these globes would connect, do LED conversions require a harness to change them over?

Garage List
My LEDs have a removable collar that had to be installed in the housing before inserting the bulb. Looks like yours are the same way, pretty sure that black plastic piece is the collar.

i think its the inner that confuses me more (bulb under the white cog) i don't see how that harness could possibly fit a h7 bulb without an adapter?

that doesn't look like a bulb.....looks like a motor.

Looks like you have adaptive lights.

Osram D1S is the main headlight bulb. It acts as both low and high beam. There's a small shutter inside the headlight housing that blocks part of the beam so it acts as a low beam. This is how you get instant high beam with a ballasted bulb.

On the far right is an H8 bulb that lights up the angel eyes and the cornering lights. The inside lens does not emit light unless the steering wheel is turned.

The object in the low middle part of the photo, under the white knob, is the motor for self-leveling the lights. This works in reponse to a sender on the suspension control arms.
