Glad I'm not the only one who was wondering this... I mean hell, getting a regular 1M to that weight seems crazy...

If i'm thinking of the same car, it was from an X5 ///M. They even used the X-drive system as well! Now that's impressive!

Willing to bet it's full fiberglass body, with the frame and interior panel/welds totally stripped to bare minimum, lightweight suspension components, etc etc.

How do you replace the rear quarter panels with fiberglass though? They're integral to the frame. Would you just swap every other panel?

You can cut the superficial portion of the panel off and replace it.

i don't believe.

i saw our e82 with s65 on scales - 1380kg with 40l of fuel.

fiberglass rear quarters, front wings, hood, trunk.

okay, i'll believe in another 50kg from our weight(or even 80!!), but not in more than 350kg.

plastic roll cage? and it's only another 60kg...

Mine v8 1m clone with full carpets, insulation, AC, carbon roof etc comes in at around 3220lbs. I have no idea how you could achieve a 2200lb with an s85.
