I startet cutting the rear arches and do them ready for my welder-guy to come weld them up together.
After welding them together i startet grinding the car down to bare metal. I glued the Prior Design arches to the car with 3M 2-component car panel glue. I used 3 points to screw down screws to tighten the flare into the car, aswell as use them as guidence when i attached the flare with glue on. When it was glued in place, i removed the screws and filled the holes, then i grinded away the left overs from the 3M glue. then i used a 2-component "Tin - solder" to fill the transition from flare to car. Im currently working on the final touches. |

Wow you guys are doing a fantastic job on this. How hard of a DIY is the molding on the extensions? I'm fairly good with that stuff and I really want to go widebody but I'm terrified of messing it up.

I also feel myself fairly good with that stuff, i'm far from good or pro. But i tend to just start with things, and i allways belive in a happy ending haha. But yeah, all the work i did myself until the final touch and get everything superclean and "straight". And the work i did was actually pretty easy. I really don't know if i could have done that finish myself, i belive i would have been there sanding for weeks, just because i don't know when to stop. Thats why i called a friend to help me with the finish touch. Actually my friend won Norwegian Championship last year, and he got 10th place in World Champion :O But if you really want to go wide body, go for it! And i can really recommend those Prior Design rear arches! Cheers |

Nice work.
Hope to see you at rudskogen on the last weekend of may? Would like to get your impressions of the stage 2 turbos as I am considering turbo upgrade for the 1M in the future.

Been gettin things done.
Engine is up and running. Welded new straight pipes to my meisterschaft rear muffler. Got the new rear lights, front lights, side markers, and tons of others small parts. Testfitted the silver Apex wheels, will have Black ones for Trackdays. Might sell the silver ones. next step is to sand the car down and get it to paint in mid April :-) |

Wow it's looking good! Is that exhaust setup all custom? I see you made your own 2>1 pipe for the mids, very nice work!

Tøft. Ser fram til å se hvordan den funker på rudskogen.
Mapper du selv? Apex felgene du vurderer å selge, hva er specs på de? Skulle hatt med et sett med 18'' for bane.

Looks absolutely incredible! Excellent work. I'm so jealous of those APEX wheels. Those are the same ones I want on my car but they just don't make them in stock 135i fitments.
