Walnut blasting - carbon clean

Hello everyone, new to the forum. Just picked up an e88 M sport ... Wanted some advice on carbon cleaning... Did anyone have it done at the dealer? what was the experience like? how much did it cost? what are your thoughts on walnut blasting?

Does anyone on here have any good recommendations of places in the greater Toronto area?

I cant wait to fully take advantage of this car in the summer!!

The N54 engine seemed to suffer from this problem, but the N55 happily plugs along without this problem or so I've heard!

I've asked about this at my shop for both my E30 and my new-to-me E88 with N55. On the E30 they said it's a waste; on the E88 (N55) they said it looks fine and will likely never need it.

I have seen it done at my dealership, before and after compared if needed I highly recommend.
