Need to replace suspension 135is

Please help!

The dealership says my left rear shock is blown and my right rear is worn. They are quoting me $600 for the shocks and $400 for the labor including an alignment. I am sure that is way too high for OEM replacement.

Does anyone have a source to buy the OEM 135is suspension?

If not I will look at a Bilstein setup. For the price they are quoting to do the rear, I can buy an entire new suspension.

Never mind, I just bought the Bilstein B14 PSS setup. All is well!

Its a slippery slope, but consider adding/replacing your rear subframe bushings while in there. At least do the bushing inserts which are easy / cheap to install and cheap to buy. Will add greatly to the improved feel when your new suspension comes in.

I added the Whiteline RSFB inserts and didn't notice much of a difference. There are others who are happy with them so YMMV. If I had to do it over again (and probably will) I'd go with Whiteline two-piece or M3 rear subframe bushings.

Tons including me have their stock suspensions and they can't get rid of them. Check your area and see what you can find. I think I went to coilovers with under 20k miles on my stock setup.

135is is exactly the same as any LCI 135i. Should be able to find something used pretty cheap if you want.

NVM, saw you went Bilstein.
