LED Side Markers

Greetings - I have had difficulty finding the standard 2825 bulb for my 128i side marker lights, so I bought clear LED replacements. The first one I installed works fine, but the car still thinks I have burned out bulb. I am aware that when replacing headlights with LED there is often a resistor kit that needs to be installed. Is that necessary for side markers, too?

Thanks for your patience!

Resistors are not required. You need to code the warm/cold checks off and 'is LED'.

I think it depends on the LED side markers. I ordered a set of tinted LED side markers on eBay and they worked fine. No coding required
