Very Very Nice! You might not want to consider the Active Steering, I hated it when I test drove the car (325i), it gives the car too much control. But, that's just me. Read some reviews about it if you have time.

I have PDC and love it. It has a periferal sensor and is good for negotiating tricky rearward navigations including moving through tight spaces. Plus on the TiAg color you can hardly see the sensors.

Definitely get it.

Having driven a 330i with AS and without, on both track and road, I too decided to order it for my future 335i. After doing considerable research on various sites, I could not find one owner with AS who regretted having it. In addition, several articles I came across recommended it. Here are two articles worth reading for those who might be considering AS as an option.
1. edmonds.com : 2006 BMW 330i vs Lexus IS 350 Comparison Test, Jan.23, 2006 : "Our car also had the optional Active Steering, which we were afraid would lend an artificial feel to the experience. Not to worry, with its variable effort and widely variable ratio, it made for less wheel turning in parking lots and yet felt perfectly weighted, linear and responsive but not darty when running the canyons. There was no 'getting used to it' and had we not seen it on the window sticker, we would've thought it was just BMW's typically precise and very communicative steering". "By contrast the IS 350, though capable and composed, felt like its steering was a remote control".
2. canadiandriver.com , Jim Kerr, Nov. 12, 2003, BMW's Active Steering (as on the 5 series):
"The car just seems very stable at all speeds. Parking was also a snap, because of the short lock to lock turns of the steering wheel. The most noticeable change was when I hopped back into another vehicle without Active Steering. The steering seemed so unresponsive, which demonstrates improvements in steering performance the Active Steering system provides."

I Can't wait
Congrats on the order. I was away this weekend and got back to a msg from Edmonton BMW saying I could order now if I wanted to. I'm still going back and forth between interior color and trim selection so I may hold off for a little bit. Cars for customers aren't supposed to be built till late July or August anyways but I guess now you'll have one of those first spots whereas if I wait I may not get a slot till Sept.

Did you finalize a $ amount below MSRP or are they waiting to find out their invoice/MSRP pricing before signing on price??

Anyone have opinions on whether I should get jade gray or coral red and whether titanium or grey poplar trim? I will be getting metallic black for exterior.

I think coral red goes well with black exterior, but not with titanium trim. Titanium looks best with black leather IMO. Jade grey needs surely more cleaning than coral red. Both look good with grey poplar, take a look at E90Fleet's configurator pictures.

Doug (My CA) Basically negotiated 1500 off of MSRP.

It is hard to see on TiAg but I can still see it. I dont lke any added marks on the car myself. I am so crazy about that I almost ordered my car with fold down rear seats, and heated seats separately because I dont like the way the headlight washers look on the front bumper. I dont like the bumps on the bumper and the outline you see from them. I know what your saying about making it easier to back up and pull forward but for me it wasnt worth it to put holes in the bumper for that. To each his own I guess.

The first customer orders for E92 should arrive late September or early October.
Sad to hear that a month is now added to the wait. I hope this is not true, but it sounds realistic.

So I shot an email over to my CA today to feel him out about negotiation and ask if he knew when customer production begins because I've seen other posts from guys who work at dealerships saying customer cars don't start till August. He emailed back with a few interesting tidbits:

1) "We have been told that the 335i will be from $3000.00 to $5000.00 more than the current 330i" The 330i starts at 47,900 in canada.

2) "We expect pricing to be available sometime in June"

3)"The coupes will be built starting in June. Ordering now will insure an early delivery. If you wait until pricing is available you may be looking at a late September delivery"

4)"These cars will be a limited early production so there is not much room for negotiation. What sort of a discount are you expecting? I can try to get you maybe $1000.00 off and see what they'll do."

So question for BMRLVR did you get 1500 off for sure because maybe I'll try for that although your car has a lot more options than the one I will get so maybe 1000 off is good enough.

Anyone else on the "inside" know for sure when the first customer cars will be ready and if ordering right now is essential to get one in Aug (with luck) or at least September (I don't want to wait till Oct or I might as well have BMW fit my car with snow tires right off the bat!)

And finally, any more opinions on jade grey vs coral red, I've pretty much decided to go with grey poplar (100%with red, still not totally sure with jade grey).

Thanks
