Why does my Bluetooth fall off
Recently I have noticed that my Bluetooth falls off. When I go into my contacts to call a number or for directions to their house it it won’t be there. On my IPhone 7 Plus Jt shows that I’m connected to the car and the car shows that I’m connected to the phone. When I disconnect and re pair it I’m all good until I turn the car off then it shows that I’m paired on both ends however im not. Please advise if there is something im missing. I have an 09 135i w/ navi.
Thanks, b |

Have you ever updated the firmware for your iDrive/Nav system? If not, you should look into this as it might fix this problem.
Go here to see what firmware updates are available for your car: https://www.bmw.com/content/bmw/mark...e-updates.html I've done this process twice already. And it's totally DIY. Just need a USB thumbdrive. |

What zx10guy suggested is your best bet. Honestly the BT sucks in these cars.

The one thing I do like about how BT is implemented in our cars is the ability to have two phones paired up simultaneously. Comes in handy for me as I have a personal and a work cell. So I can take and place phone calls on both cells. The thing I don't like is I don't have access to my contacts or text messages on the secondary/additional phone. I have to access those from the phone itself.
