M5 Steering Wheel on E90?

Would it fit as is or even with a small amount of modification? Or would it be a big undertaking? Probably wouldn't even want to do it come to think of it considering the wheel would be like what, $1,000?

I wondered the same thing. I think Its the same wheel as the 5-series and 6-series with the SMG package. Either way It maybe possible to be swapped out but there most likely will be some sort of modification done.

Haha! After seeing what it could do while the driving instructor took me for a spin in it (literally, I'm talking about doing a 360) at over 80MPH on the BMW Performance Center track, I'd definetly take one if it were only cheaper. It's worth the price though. Trying to convince my dad into it. In about 15 months I'm probably going to put a deposit down on an 2008 M3 though.

Yeah, hurry up so you can pay 15-25,000 over sticker (whatever that will be!) for the first 6 months it's available. the M5 in SoCal was going for 25-40,000 over MSRP when first out. I know this from talking to 2 owners and one that refused to pay the "price"!)

I'll buy your sport steering wheel + the airbag after you upgrade to an M5 steering wheel.
